Myanmar's pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi addressed her supporters and the media from the headquarters of her National League for Democracy (NLD) on Monday, April 2, 2012 in Yangon, Myanmar. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi claimed victory Monday in Myanmar's historic by-election, saying she hoped it would mark the beginning of a new era for the long-pressed country.
